Mercury Comet GT Updated showing engine and Modifications with Commentary

Description

The Merucury Comet Gt is the More Expensive and heavier car compared to the Maverick Grabber. The two cars however are basically the same. My dad bought the car in 1973 for 3500 with the engine heads being modded from the factory. An original car only got 140 hp stock, but my dad had the forsight to beef up the engine with better heads which put it at 240 hp with hi po exhaust. Then in 77, my father installed headman hooker headers with flowmaster exhaust because his ex wife destroyed the exhaust system driving over a curb, about the same time my mother and he started to date. 1979 I was born and was driven around with his car, my mother and he even lived in the car for a time. Then in 82 he placed a blaster accel coil and bigger fuel jets in the two barrel carburator which gave it a punch too strong for the transmission to take. In 1984 the car layed victim to a failed transmission, while life, and responsiblity made my father leave the car in disrepair for 19 years until I took on the task to have a go at the car. In 2003 I, along with my half brother Ernesto Isidro Sosa miraculously got the car to run with a transmission install and a bunch of radiator plugs. My ex wife, Jessica Sandoval Gay Reyes, helped me with a brake master cylinder, brakes, and lines and some of the broken windows. My mother helped me with a windsheild, countless junkyard parts, and labor. My father helped me along with his tools and know how, and he already had bought the grill in 1980 so all I <b>...</b>
