MINI John Cooper Works Coupé Endurance - interior

Description

MINI has unveiled its new endurance racer based on the recently released 2012 MINI John Cooper Works Coupé. The MINI John Cooper Works Coupé Endurance will race at the Nürburgring 24-hour endurance challenge which takes place this weekend. The MINI racer comes with a 1.6 liter turbocharged unit delivering approximately 184 kW / 250 PS / 247 bhp and 330 Nm (243 lb-ft ) of torque, including an overboost function. Top speed is 240 km/h (149 mph). Modifications made on the MINI Coupe include a stiffer race suspension with adjustable shock absorbers and an aerodynamic kit. The aero kits provides a new front spoiler, rear diffuser and adjustable rear wing. Also added are a roll cage, sport bucket seats and a six-point safety harness.
