This video shows a TDI engine with 60000 miles with a gear driven balance shaft and oil pump module on the 2.0L VW Passat TDI. 2004-2005. This basic engine was also used in Audi A4 TDI and Audi A6 TDI of the same era. The original chain driven oil pump was replaced with a gear driven oil pump.
