1948 PACKARD SUPER 8 VICTORIA CONVERTIBLE - BATHTUB STYLING

Description

ONE OF A FEW POST-WAR CARS THAT WERE CALLED BATHTUBS BECAUSE OF THE SIMULARITIES OF STREAMLINE STYLING TO AN INVERTED OLD STYLE BATHTUB. THIS PACKARD LUXURY CAR FEATURED POWER WINDOWS, POWER SEATS, POWER TOP, AND POWER RADIO ANTENNA. THE ENGINE WAS A FLAT HEAD STRAIGHT EIGHT WITH HYDRAULIC LIFTERS AND NINE BEARINGS. THIS IS ONE OF ONLY 1103 VICTORIA CONVERTIBLES MADE IN '48. BATHTUB STYLING DOESN'T DIMINISH THE GREAT PRESTIGE PACKARDS STILL HAD IN THE POST-WAR ERA. THIS IS A CLASSIC LUXURY CAR THAT STILL LOOKS GOOD AFTER ALL THESE YEARS. THANKS VERY MUCH FOR VIEWING THIS RARE CLASSIC.
