Early Super8 films (1982-84) "Amazing Stories"

Description

Second in this series of lost and in-completed amateur Super8 films is "Amazing Stories", a 1983 vignette piece of short sketches. Based on the early pulp magazine. (pre-dates Spielberg's Amazing Stories) Once again featuring early collaborator/actor Paul Trainor (son of Producer Chris Trainor) made during our high school years. Oddly enough, at the time Spielberg had a house several doors down from Chris' place (in Malibu) where some of this was photographed. Also actor Ronald Lacey ("Toht" from Raiders) who was a good friend of Chris had offered to be in any of my early Super8 endeavors. I seemed to always be riding the shadow of Spielberg. Where did it all go wrong?
