Audi Q5 3.0 TDI Surging Problem

AUDI Q5 SURGING PROBLEM : I have owned my Q5 for just under 12 months with 20000k's on the clock. I dont believe this is an isolated case as I have read of similar issues in a number of Forums. To be fair the local Dealership is trying hard to fix this but they do not appear to be getting much support from Germany, certainly no urgency from Audi. Surging appears worst at low throttle openings in 5th gear. the problem makes driving around town intolerable, very frustrating !!!!!!
