1950 Nash Statesman 4 door sedan
Description
This styling was quite revolutionary for the time. Very streamlined, and the front wheels could barely be seen under the front fender. There are other interesting features. Nash was known for its excellent heating and ventilation system, something we take for granted today. Air entered the cowl via the raised ventwork, and was heated instead of the common practice of just heating the inside air. The speedometer and gauges were contained in a binnacle on the steering column. The front seatbacks reclined to make a bed. It was a great traveling car...with a futuristic touch.
