10cc - Sand In My Face (bassline/bass cover)

Description

Graham Gouldman, whom (hopefully) everyone knows as the man behind some of the best songs of the 1960's (he wrote "Bus Stop" and "Look Through Any Window" for The Hollies, and "For Your Love" for the Yardbirds, just to name a few of his hits), was also the bass player for one of the most underrated groups of the 70's, 10cc. Everyone on this side of the Atlantic probably knows 10cc from their 2 HUGE hits "I'm Not In Love" and "The Things We Do For Love". But their UK hits & album cuts have a bit of a weird streak. Take this tune for example, "Sand In My Face". It's a song about body-building! Strange topic for a pop song, but they make it work. Anyway, Graham was also a Rickenbacker 4001 user, although, just like Geddy Lee, uses a Fender Jazz Bass these days.
