1986 Mercedes Benz 190e 2.3-16 Cosworth track

TURN UP THE VOLUME so you can hear the sweet sound of a Cosworth motor :) This is a video I made of me driving my 190e 2.3-16 Cosworth at Buttonwillow on November 7th, 2009 with NASA. I ran this session on trashed R compounds (Hoosier A6 225/40/17). Grip was a little better than the street tires that I ran in later sessions. Here is a partial list of modifications done to the car: --Wheels -17x8" Carlsson wheels (made by OZ), 2 sets, 1/15's for the street, 1/16's for the track --Engine -Megasquirt conversion running EDIS ignition system -3" mandrel bent exhaust -K&N filter -Stock airbox adapted to work with megasquirt (custom aluminum adapter) --Suspension -500e springs (cut) -Bilstein sport shocks -500e front sway bar -Evo 2 rear sway bar -300te metal rear sway bar end links, stock ones are plastic, stops flex of rear sway bar at the links -MRP camber plates -MRP rear shock tower brace -Benzboy adjustable rear camber arms --Brakes -Brembo 4 piston calipers -Porterfield pads --Interior -Stripped -Corbeau seats -Schroth harnesses -OMP suede steering wheel -Momo hub adapter --Exterior -Euro headlights and corners for the street (sometimes referred to as E code) -DTM cup mirrors to replace the stock different sized mirrors -Otherwise exterior is all stock -Original paint
