Description
Jamie Napier presented at the third annual conference on Law and Mind Sciences,The Free Market Mindset: History, Psychology, and Consequences, which took place on March 7, 2009 at Harvard Law School. She is a Ph.D. student in Social Psychology at New York University working with John Jost and Tom Tyler. Her primary research interest is the effects of societal injustice, including how members of advantaged and disadvantaged groups diverge in their perceptions and explanations of injustice; how political and religious ideologies may ameliorate the outrage associated with perceived injustice; and the consequences of accepting or rationalizing injustice on individual subjective well-being and self-esteem. She expects to complete her Ph.D. in May of 2009.
