Very wrong! Sky has something special and unique about her: a passion for old-school grunge and vintage and most of all, she knows very clearly who she is and what she wants. Zoom With Portuguese roots but born and bred in California, Sky was a MySpace sensation. She loves to sing and it was after uploading on MySpace a clip of her own personal interpretation of Careless Whisper by George Michal that her talent got recognized. Yet, she was determined to make it in the industry and featured in many music videos as well as starring as Jenny in the movie Putty Hill. Being very focused on her work, at the age of 15 she started promoting her music in Los Angeles's Clubs rather than wasting time getting drunk or play the "rebel" role. "I'm a professional singer and actress, I work hard to achieve my dreams and never wanted to be fooled around and considered a party girl only" she explains. In 2009 her efforts get rewarded and she signed a record deal with EMI for the release of her debut album: "That is my strategy; I keep pestering people until I get what I want. So far it worked".
