Description

Defining Happiness- Part of the "Is it an Idol?" series [Expand for synopsis and notes] Azami (Ai Kago), the veteran of the idol industry at the tender age of twelve, feels like the smile that's been plastered on her face day in and day out is ripping her apart at the seams. She's worried about losing her groupmate Kairi (Airi Suzuki) who wasn't too careful about hiding her relationship with a member of a boyband- if tabloids caught wind of this, it would cost Kairi her job, and Azami one of her most precious friendships. The fact that she was being constantly harassed didn't help either. Desperate for refuge from her quaking world, she finds solace in a twentysome, disillusioned actor Hiro Kanzaki (Miura Haruma), and ends up confiding a little too much... *This story is inspired (as in, VERY LOOSELY based on) by Ai Kago's career as a Hello! Project idol. This story is only a segment in a larger thread of three stories ( the others are actor Hiro Kanzaki/Miura Haruma's, and Korean-turned Japanese singer Jae Ahn's/Younha Go's).
