Raising Our Banner
Description
I was blessed to go up to Ensign Peak in Salt Lake City, Utah. There I was surrounded by loved ones. The experience was one to remember. 163 years ago, on July 26, 1847 Brigham Young and other faithful individuals climbed this peak to raise their banner to the nations. They tied Heber C. Kimball's yellow bandanna to a walking stick, waiving it in the air, and raised an ensign to the nations. 1 We too have the opportunity to raise our ensigns. What is it that we will stand for today? Are we going to raise a standard for virtue? When we do this, we will change the world. --Ashley Moutsos Notes: 1.
