3-22-2009 Magnetosphere
Description
Observation period 3-22-2009 19:00 to 23:59 This video should be used in conjunction of Magnetosphere March 23 & 24 - 2009 at the below link www.youtube.com The Earth had a fairly Significant Tail Event in this period with no obvious Solar activity to contribute. The video covers action covered by CCMC , Nict did not reflect this activity in the B Field Lines ,IMF,Polarcap, closed For every powerful action there is an opposite reaction .Powerful Distant Burst may even influence actions in our Protective Magnetic Field and excite particles during quiet Solar Periods. This video is an attempt at trying to put the 2 together. On March 22 2009 on or about 22:39 SuperAGILE time a burst was detected . This blast was from former SGR J1550-5418 now classifed as AXP 1E 1547.0-5408 a very powerful and rapidly spinning Neutron Star located in Norma, It is thought to be less then 10000 years old and less then 10 kpc in distance. It had started bursting in October 2008 and went silent till late January 2009 , Activty slowed but continued into February and now into March, This source is known to produce hard and soft x-ray pulses. And the Light Curbs are nearly at the top of the scale when this source goes into a bursting mode "A bright burst from AXP 1E 1547.0-5408 / SGR J1550-5418 was triggered and imaged by SuperAGILE on 22 March 2009, at 22:39:16 UT. The event had a duration of about 250 ms, with a multi-peak structure. The peak flux on the 10 ms timescale was approximately 3.6e-5 erg ...
