This commercial features the Lark and Avanti. The Avanti was Studebaker's "Halo" car. It was designed to bring people into the showroom with the hopes of selling them a Lark. The list price for the Avanti was $4.445, this was Cadillac and Lincoln price territory. A mere 3834 Avantis were produced in 1963. Raymond Lowey, the famous French Industrial Designer and a small team designed this car for Studebaker.
