SAAB Sonett at VRG New Jersey Historics at NJMP, Race #2, September 25, 2010

Description

The first race on Saturday, September 25th, 2010. 2nd race of the weekend. At the start I get balked badly by a Porsche 914-6 that seems to ave been sleeping. Everyone else goes by me and I can't get out from behind the 914 due to the train of cars on my right. I battle with that 914 and a 911 early on. The 914 eventually gets his foot in it and walks away and I am able to finally put the 911 behind me for good. Eventually, while chasing a Triumph TR4 and a Turner 1500, we come up on some lapped traffic and I get through a tight spot. After a short drag race with the Turner coming into the final turn there is some excitement in the first turn! I catch one more 914 (different one this time) on the last lap. Good racing (except for the start of course).
