Description

The 'EFIJY' is a 21st Century hot rod reincarnating Australia's most famous car, the FJ Holden, that was unveiled at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney on 13 October 2005. The EFIJY is a radical pillarless custom coupe with a Chevrolet Corvette underbody and state-of-the-art automotive technology throughout. Powered by a supercharged 6.0-litre HSV engine developing 480kW of power and 775Nm of torque the EFIJY was the long-term dream for GM Holden Ltd Chief Designer Richard Ferlazzo. Richard and a number of other Holden Design Team members built the EFIJY as a side project whilst creating the creating the 2006 Holden Commodore in Melbourne, Australia. Richard Ferlazzo kindly profiled the Holden EFIJY for CARSofAUSTRALIA at the 2008 Victorian Hot Rod Show in Melbourne.
