Renault Dauphine progress

Description

1966 Renault Dauphine Gordini progress report. This car has been unregistered since 1978 and was a free gift from the California based Arcane Society "Lord car King" Byron. Since it's arrival last fall. I unstuck the engine, and found a water pump to get it running. I have since bought many new parts,....I basically handed over my credit card to Jacque's rear engine Renault parts. I was pleasantly suprised to find parts available. Replaced/Repaired so far: Battery, dist. cap, rotor, points, wires, oil and filter, carb cleaning, brake hoses, rebuilt the calipers, master cylinder, modified a 4cv fuel tank, blasted wheels and installed new tires. Now popping out dents and prepping for paint, estimating rusty floors,finding key ignition lock cylinder and then drive to DMV for Oregon registration. Wheew!
