Beware VW Golf 1.6 SE FSi exploding in flames

Description

My wife's VW caught fire for no apparent reason. She had just remove our son from the car then it caught fire and exploded. VW are not accepting liability and after their investigation claim it's not a manufacturing fault. The Fire brigade said if my wife and child were in the car another minute they both would have vbeen killed or seriously injured. VW has treated us badly and basically sticking 2 fingers up to us. If you own a VW 1.6 SE FSi built in 2004 contact you VW dealer or VW head office and get them to check out your car. They way they have been acting indicate that they are not telling us everything because it would be costly for them to recall all VW Golf made in that year. I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else and if this has happened to you get onto VW immediately. Good Luck.
