Tour of a 1953 Hudson Super-Jet

I had seen this car every time I drove by it on US-7 in Ridgefield, CT, so I decided to finally check it out. The car is in terrible condition - as you can see at several points I am unable to get some of the doors opened due to rust corrosion. You will also find 7-UP fountain bottles as well as an old beer keg. And should I add, metal springs are all that remains of what were once seats. From research, the Hudson Jet was only produced two years, 1953 and 1954, and am not completely sure of the year here, but it is one of those two. The license plate on the car, HW-4052, was issued most likely late in 1970 or 1971, and more likely than not it was probably driven for no more than a few years after that. Anyone here who wishes that I had gotten this car started up and running ought to respect the fact if its even possible to go through the years of work to get it into roadworthy condition.
