1947 Hudson Commodore Coupe

Description

A friend of the family had the four door version of this car. It always fascinated me because the hood was hinged at the front contrary to the usual practice, and the door lock buttons were the opposite of the usual configuration..when pressed down, the door was locked! Quite conventional in style, it was nonetheless quite handsome with its two tone design and plenty of woodgrain pattern painted on the metal surfaces inside.
