Airbus A320 Transported on Highway

Description

One of the most famous planes in history is on a road trip. Here you see the "Miracle on the Hudson" jetliner on the back of trailer, being driven through Maryland today. This is the plane that Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger safely landed on the Hudson River in January 2009. Everyone on the plane survived the emergency landing. The engines on the Airbus A-320 lost power shortly after take-off. The fuselage is meeting up with the tail and wings at the Carolina Aviation Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina, where the plane will go on display. It's expected to arrive there within the next few days.
