Commentators speculated that he had hurt his neck, but he'd actually collapsed at the wheel, a heart attack paralysing him, causing to crash The kiwi was the 1967 F1 world champion in a Brabham-Repco, the only New Zealand Formula One Champion and was 56 at the time of his passing.
