This "HO" Train model depicts one of the versions of the Famous Rio Grande Southern Galloping Goose's with the Pierce Arrow Limo body, 1930-1940's era. (Also available in HOn3 track gauge version.) Model will be available late Spring 2010, and Retail for $249.98 but you can save 20% if you Pre-Order at the Con-Cor Trains Website at: www.con-cor.com/PAGoose.html (And don't forget we have a Lay-Away program where you can put down a small down payment and pay off the balance over several months.) .............. Model will come in standard "DC" (Analog) mode, but include Industry Standard NMRA Socket set for easy mounting of either a function or Sound Decoder.. (Decoder not supplied with the model.) The Goose will come with the standard spoked pilot, but will include an alternate Snow plow that can be mounted by the modeler if he/she so chooses. Just imagine it now, this neat little railbus drifting down the track on your layout, honking at the bystanders, bell ringing at crossings, and all with the rumble of a small gas engine in the background.
