News Update: Model Carla Franklin Suing Google

Ex-model Carla Franklin is firing back on an unidentified cyber bully. A graduate of Duke University and Columbia University's MBA program, Franklin appeared in some of Columbia Business School's YouTube videos that show her giving advice to incoming students. She was alerted to slurs on the videos and is now trying to unmask the person who posted the malicious comments and unauthorized clips from a movie she was in. Franklin demands that Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), which owns YouTube, deliver the taunter's name, address and phone number. This legal strategy has been used before against internet commenters, who use online aliases that do not reveal a real identity. Model Liskula Cohen was successful in her attempt to have Google unmask her online tormenter, along with a Louisiana government official and a New Jersey police officer. Google did not comment on the suit, which was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court.
