1941 CADILLAC SERIES 6723 7 PASSENGER - STRETCHIN' IT
Description
THIS IS A REALLY RARE CADILLAC. NOT QUITE THE TOP OF THE LINE SERIES 75 LIMO, BUT A STRETCHED SEDAN NEVERTHELESS. ONLY 280 OF THESE 7 PASSENGER 4-DOOR SEDANS WERE MADE IN '41. THIS WAS THE FIRST YEAR FOR THE LONG-RUNNING "EGG CRATE GRILLE", A STYLE FEATURE THAT WOULD LAST FOR DECADES. THE ENGINE IS A 346 CID L-HEAD V-8 WITH BHP OF 150. A SERIES 67 7 PASSENGER WITH THE DIVIDER WINDOW LIKE A LIMO WOULD HAVE, HAD ONLY 95 UNITS MADE. THIS PARTICULAR SERIES 67 WOULD COST $2735 NEW. NOTICE THE " JUMP SEATS ", A FOLD DOWN ACCESSORY SEATING FOR THE 7 PASSENGER CAPACITY. AIR CONDITIONING WAS AN OPTION BUT FEW WERE ORDERED. 1941 PRODUCTION WAS UP 80 PERCENT TO 66130 UNITS PRODUCED MAKING CADILLAC 15TH PLACE IN THE INDUSTRY. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL SURVIVOR WITH AN OLDER REPAINT IN BLACK AND THE BRIGHT RED INTERIOR. SO, IF YOU WERE WEALTHY IN '41, THIS MIGHT BE JUST THE KIND OF LUXURY RIDE YOU'D LIKE TO HAVE. THANKS VERY MUCH FOR VIEWING THIS LUXURIOUS '41 CADDY.
