It was a very welcome surprise to find that driving in the mountains with Nissa's CVT transmission is incredibly easy because you can set the cruise control and not worry about using the brakes or shifting manually between 5th and 6th gears all the time. It just holds you at that speed automatically without any excess engine strain or brake fade.
