1989 Chrysler TC Maserati

There was a mini show of these cars within the overall show at Lake Mirror. They boast a detachable hardtop and a convertible top. Not sure about the backseat...I noticed the spare and jack in that location. The engine was of Chrysler K Car origin..the styling touches were Maserati. The car looked very much like the regular Chrysler coupe...and I think the price differential killed sales of the car. It was very expensive for the time. It was built in Modena, then shipped here..it's been tried before, and it never seems to work out.
