BMW 2002 Race Car - Start of VARA Qualifying Race at Chuckwalla

Description

In-car video from my 1969 BMW 2002 of the VARA Group 1 Saturday qualifying race, starting from way back in the pack as I was slow in the wet timed qualifying session (ran full rain tires, whereas I ought have run 'intermediates'). Plenty of vintage race cars from several classes shown here including a Lotus Super 7, Datsun 510, Triumph TR-4, Lotus Cortina, Renault Sports Racer, more BMW 2002's and a sweet German Ford Capri.
