But I will definitely see you when I'm back from Tas. It has been a bit of a up and down first week with the rain starting not long after I arrived in Devonport and basically no 24hr period without any! As one local said... you know when it is about to rain in Tassie... when its sunny!!! And I think that says it all! The ferry trip over was fairly calm so spent most of the time napping, reading, wandering the decks and spending my money on two fav's... maps and plant books J. After getting into Devonport at about 18:15 ... the first stop was the bottle-o then some food, a quick wonder around and then headed south to find some where to camp. The first night was certainly an adventure.... I looked at the map and decided that I could camp south of Devonport on the Mersey River in the state forest so off I went... well unlike Vic forestry tracks a lot down here are all locked up so I eventually found my way into an area behind Railton, a nice little dead end <b>...</b>
