2008 PlaceMakers Classic - Timaru (Levels) - Race 32

Description

This is the final race of the day on Sunday, Feb 10th at Timaru International Motor Raceway (Levels). This is the second meeting of a three weekend series - the Southern Festival of Speed. In this in-car video from my 1969 BMW 2002, I had been gridded way up in the field due to a very wet and rainy race earlier in the day where I had the 4th fastest time. I don't have the horsepower that many of these cars have, but in the rain that really didn't matter. However, the track dried out for this race and I get passed by a multitude of cars here... The last car in the video is a yellow Vauxhall Viva GT driven by Michael Eden. After passing me his tires "went off" and I got a front seat view of some out of control action. I ended up in 10th place in this race but had a blast! Please rate my video if you like it.
