How to replace a 2004 Audi A6 3.0L Timing Belt

Here's a short video of how to install a timing belt on a 2004 Audi A6 3.0L. 1. Raise and support front of vehicle. 2. Disconnect the exhuast pipe for auxiliary heater from front engine undershield (if fitted). 3. Remove: Lower splash guard. Air cleaner cover. Air intake pipe between front panel and air cleaner. Left hand engine cover. Front bumper. Front panel bolts. 4. Install support guides No. 3369 through holes in panel. 5. Remove front panel bolts. 6. Slide the front panel forward into service position. 7. Install the upper rear bolts into the rear holes to steady panel. 8. Remove Front engine cover. 9. Turn the accessory drive belt tensioner clockwise, using tool No. 3299 10. Remove the accessory drive belt. NOTE: If the accessory drive belt is to be re-used, mark direction of rotation with chalk to ensure correct installation. 11. Remove: Accessory drive belt tensioner. Power steering pump pulley. Use tool No 3212. Crankshaft pulley bolts. Crankshaft pulley NOTE: Thrust washer is only fitted to crankshaft sprocket with part No. 06C 105 063 A. 12. Remove: Timing belt covers. Rear engine cover. 13. Move the coolant expansion tank to one side. DO NOT disconnect hoses. 14. Remove: Air cleaner housing and hoses. Dipstick and tube. Secondary air hose from right hand cylinder head. Ignition coils. Both rear crankcase breather hoses. Both cylinder head covers. 15. Turn the crankshaft clockwise until the camshafts (CA1 & CA2) are pointing upwards at No. 3 cylinder using <b>...</b>
