1968 Pontiac Catalina Sedan

This is old footage taken back when I was 18 of my first project car. I apologize for the low overall quality and framerate. It was a '68 Catalina sedan with a Pontiac 400 mated to a 2bbl and Turbo 400 underneath. I was running this car with a 2.5" single open exhaust right after the factory y-pipe. The entire system was probably only five feet long, and boy was it loud. I'm surprised I never got a ticket for noise violation! Some friends and I painted it flat black by hand with brushes, and did the grille in a semi-gloss. This car was seriously cool, but it was just too far gone for an 18 year old kid to do a whole lot with. We got it up and running out of purgatory, but rust had pretty much destroyed the body, the interior was awful and the carb needed a lot of attention. Luckily it went to someone who was able to use all its best parts!
