Ford Mustang FR500C GT4 testing at Zandvoort

Allard Kalff drove the first time with the Mustang FR500C at Tuesday the 7th of October. Tachyon Motorsport had been invited by SRO Motorsports Group to make a choice between two famous tire brands: Pirelli and Michelin. Kalff did a 1.51.7 as fastest lap. He drove this fast time on the way better Michelin tires. With that time Kalff was the fastest of the three invited teams. That means faster than an Aston Martin N24 and a Porsche 911 GT3 (997). Thats quite an achievement. Some technical data: Engine: 4997cc V8 with 420 bhp Weight: 1380 kg Power to weight ratio: 3,28 Gearbox: 6 speed Tremec T-56 Tires front: Michelin 18" 305mm x 660mm Tires rear: Michelin 18" 305mm x 680mm The car ran completely according to the official GT4 specs.
