1970 Triumph 2000 Mk.2 Straight Six Startup & Rev

Description

This is a short video of my 1970 Triumph 2000 (a Mark 2 "Innsbruck" saloon) starting up, with a few good revs for added measure. The engine is a 2 litre (1998cc, 121ci) straight six, with twin Stromberg carburettors and 2 valves per cylinder. From the factory the engine would have made 90BHP and 117ft.lb, revving willingly all the way to 6500RPM and above (if you're brave enough). It's certainly more refined than rapid. It's a very smooth engine, as most straight sixes tend to be - and has quite a nice crisp exhaust note - but it's definitely not loud (or fast) enough, yet!
