More @ on9now.com Earlier this year Mitsubishi announced the Lancer and Lancer Ralliart would make its way to the Paris Motor Show in a Sportback guise. A few initial images were released revealing the simple details of the models but for those of you who want a little extra from the Lancer, a whole bunch of pictures have surfaced less than a week before their unveiling. The regular Sportback model draws its power from a choice of three engines a 109 hp 1.5 liter, 143hp gasoline engine, a 1.8 liter gasoline engine or a 140hp 2.0 liter diesel option. The Lancer Ralliart which fits in nicely between the regular Lancer and top-spec Lancer Evolution has a new turbocharged 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder DOHC MIVEC engine producing 240 hp (177 kW) and 343 Nm of torque. All engine options will come with a 5 speed manual transmission as standard, however consumers will have the opportunity to upgrade their models with theTwin Clutch SST (Sport Shift Transmission). www.on9now.com
