Swedish company IKEA has been criticised over its latest ad campaign. The billboard poster, which shows two men holding hands, features the slogan "We are open to all families" and is their latest gay-friendly initiative. 80000 people have signed a petition to remove a controversial 'gay cure' iphone app from Apple's iTunes. The computer giant is under increasing pressure to remove the free program, designed by Exodus International. The Dutch Defence Ministry will participate in Amsterdam's Pride Parade for the very first time, this weekend. Gay and lesbian members of the Dutch armed forces will march in uniform, with the Ministry's official blessing. Singer Ricky Martin was hailed a role model at America's GLAAD Awards on Saturday. The star, who came out last year, was given the accolade in recognition of his contribution to promoting queer equality. Finally, a co-creator of TV series Glee has confirmed that one of its main characters -- Santana -- is gay. Actress Naya Rivera, who plays her, said she's "more than honoured" to be involved in the storyline.
