Officials have banned the parade for six consecutive years. More than 400 homophobic crimes were reported in Scotland last year. Prosecutors said in the first full year since hate-crime laws were introduced 448 charges were made for crimes aggravated by prejudice over sexual orientation. Germany's soccer captain Philipp Lahm has advised gay professional footballers against coming out. The Bayern Munich star made the comments in an interview with German magazine Bunte. A gay man in San Francisco is trying to criminalise circumcision. Lloyd Schofield believes the procedure is male genital mutilation and has now secured it on the ballot for the city's municipal election. Finally, British singer Jessie J has said being bisexual is easier for women. The star claims men are more likely to be judged for it, while bisexual girls are seen as sexually adventurous.
