A very rare film (in Finnish): Datsun-Nissan promotional video from the Rally of the 1000 Lakes 1981 "Those Formidable Flying Finns". Introduction with a brief overlook of how Finnish drivers are brought up from karting etc. Footage of Timo Salonen and Seppo Harjanne preparing for the rally, interviews with some of the race organizers etc. And of course: some brilliant footage of the rally itself in the beautiful scenery of the Finnish lake district.
