Rover 75 reving strangely

Description

This is my Rover 75 diesel after sitting in slow moving traffic for ten minutes. This was at the end of an hour long journey. Plenty if diesels in the tank. I pulled into a car park, put the automatic into Park and filmed it for a minute. After watching it for a few minutes I turned the engine off and took the key out. I put the key back in but the car didn't even sound like it was turning over. Took the key out a second time and tried again. This time it worked fine and the revving problem had gone.
