cp-e™ Genesis Coupe 2.0T and V6 Engine Mounts

Description

Custom Performance Engineering is developing and will be releasing a set of EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) rubber engine mounts for the Genesis Coupe 2.0T and V6 variants. CNC machined from billet 6061-series aluminum; these mounts are a great upgrade to the factory units and alot more durable, but they also transmit far less NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) into the cabin than polyurethane mounts. Our mounts are unique as we use rubber for the bushing as opposed to urethane simply because its better suited for this application. Rubber withstands engine heat much better then urethane, and it wont deform or crack over time the way urethane can. We were also able to incorporate a unique method of holding the mount in the vehicle - using billet bushing housings and strong steel. This increases the effective stiffness of the bushing under engine loads, and absorbs annoying vibrations. Most likely we will have variable durometer values for customers with different goals for their cars - both softer and harder. We have used similar engine mount technology in our Mazdaspeed3/6 products - to this day maintaining the best mounts available for those cars.
