Building the 1986 Toyota Corolla AE86 Levin (Kouki)

Description

This is the build process of the Fujimi 1/ 24 scale 1986 Toyota Corolla AE86 Levin hatchback coupe, a RWD favourite with drifters, modifiers and boyracers alike. For a long time now, these things have been common here in New Zealand - and due to their renewed popularity in the tuner and drifting communities they are now commanding higher prices - a number have even been exported BACK to Japan for use there... As you can see, the original idea with this car was to do an Initial D replica (though using the fixed headlamp Levin bodyshell) - however when seeing other models my ideas soon changed! - One day in the far future I will build an Initial D Trueno! Shown at the end also are a few previous builds of mine, the Honda Integra, Nissan Skyline and Toyota Chaser... Soundtrack is The Exies - "Ugly" (2004)
