'Save Me From Green' is from Los Morenos' second CD entitled, 'Presence of You'. The passion and nuances of the Spanish guitar come alive with the upbeat, rhythmic style of the Rumba Flamenca fusion of Los Morenos. Their fluid and jazzy sound is an impressive mixture of influences from traditional flamenco, contemporary jazz, rumba and Arabic sounds. The elements of these genres add a welcome variety to their performance. Add an eclectic mixture of percussion instruments from the Latin American cajon to the Middle Eastern doumbek and you have a successful recipe for dancing. Eleanor and Mauricio Moreno met in a small bistro in 1994 and from the start the two were making music together, first to entertain family and friends at parties and later in collaboration as Los Morenos, writing the CDs, 'Moviendo Te' and 'Presence Of You'. Although Eleanor Moreno (now Eleanor Hollenbeck) is no longer with the group, Los Morenos are still going strong, releasing two more albums entitled, 'En Vivo' and 'Transitions' and touring throughout North America.
