Volvo 940 turbodiesel smoking
Description
Smoke from my tuned Volvo diesel. UP YOURS all treehuggers and Greenpeace... (197.9 hp / 361 Nm = 266,5 ft lbs). This is before new turbo, exhaust manifold and intercooler. Stock turbo didn't give enough air and fuel-adjustments were set for "too much". This was done for filming this video... Why you people are so fucking dumb? I just closed commenting for this video, because people can't read the facts, which have been given several times... I see there are people, who don't understand the basics of tuning the diesel-engine. Still they are commenting here... This video is shooted with standard parts and raised injectiontime. When you install a larger turbo and exhaustmanifold with quite long runners, you'll need lots of extra fuel injected into engine before you get boost pressures up. So engine will give hell a lot of smoke, until turbo compresses enough air to compare with amount of injected fuel. That why it looks like this, until pressure gains 2 bar! Understood?
