My version of the Bazzaz ZFI 2 map switch
Description
I made my own Bazzaz ZFI switch, it allows you to switch between 2 seperate maps. Bazzaz sells the switch for $79.99 on their website, the cheapest I found it was on ebay for $71.99 Doing a little looking on the zx-10r.net forum I found out you can make one for less then $5. I used a Radio Shack Mini Toggle SPST switch, cost $2.99. I soldered the small wires to the switch and covered them with heat shink tubing. The bazzaz comes with a white connector with a single wire that will switch the maps if you connect or disconnect the plug. By cutting the single wire you can put the switch in between the wires and manually flip the switch. I put the switch under the seat next to my own version of Ivan's TRE, that you can turn on and off. You can run the wiring as long as you want and place it near the clipons at the headlight/turn signal switch.
