BMW 325Ci E46 ECS Tuning SECOND Thermostat Failure

Bought a cooling kit as preventive maintenance from ECS Tuning "Stop your cooling problems before they start" (www.ecstuning.com After kit installed, car overheated. Thermostat was bad and sent back. Replacement failed as well. More in-depth background below. Background/Rant: I have owned a 2002 BMW 325Ci for almost 4 years. The water pump had never been replaced and I thought it was severely overdue. I went with a kit because might as well replace some other components. I bought this kit because it would allow me to get everything I needed (almost-didn't come with a coolant level sensor, which I bought from the local BMW dealer) and it replaced the plastic components with aluminum ones. The stock pump comes with a plastic impeller that can break off causing engine damage. So going with an OEM pump was not an alternative I wanted to go. But then again, it had been going strong for almost 10 years. Anyways, I bought the kit, drove to a local shop, and had my mechanic install it and flush the system and bleed the air out of it. The coolant level light is constantly on because the some aftermarket (ECS Tuning) coolant expansion tank don't work with the OEM sensor. I will put a video on that later. I tested the sensor with the old expansion tank and it works, the old one worked too, but I wanted all new cooling system components. After everything checked out, I drove the short distance home. No problems until the next day when I had my normal commute. For the first time ever <b>...</b>
