Entry from: Saas Fee, Switzerland Entry Title: "3rd country in a week" Entry: "Last night I had about 2-3 hours of sleep, because I went to bed late due to packing and doing last minute things and then having to tear myself out of bed at 3 am (yuck). I was a blood-shot-eyed zombie all the way to and at Luton airport where the three of us sleepily waited from our 6:30 am flight to Geneva. We flew with EasyJet which, like JetStar, doesn't assign seats, making it a free for all. I managed to secure a window seat, but unfortunately between the window misting and icing over, the darkness and the extensive cloud cover after sunrise, I had a difficult time seeing anything! Luckily the clouds cleared close to the end of our flight and I got to enjoy the spectacular sight of enormous, jagged, snow-capped mountains rising over the clouds. Yay! Snow!! I felt somewhat cheated when we landed in Geneva - yet another overcast day. Great. However, the skies progressively cleared as we drove towards Saas Fee, the ski resort near the Italian border that we were going to stay at. As we approached the town of Montreux, the snow and mountains were appearing and my excitement was growing. We stopped at Montreux for lunch and some fresh Swiss air.
