Entry from: Paros, Greece Entry Title: "On to the next Greek isle" Entry: "Sadly, we bid farewell to Oia and our terrific villa. If you ever are in Oia, we strongly recommend Old Oia Houses - very inexpensive, perfect views and right in the middle of town. We again took two bus rides to the port to catch our ferry to the island of Paros. Riding the bus is the way to go...as fast as a taxi and much, much more inexpensive. We never paid more than 2 Euro each per ride, as opposed to the 35 each way it would have been with a taxi. Once at the port, we had lunch while waiting for our ferry. Danielle said she had the best Greek salad yet. The ferry was very fast and we were in Paros in no time. Paros is a smaller island than Santorini and we found that it has a completely different vibe. It doesn't seem to be so full of tourists and there are many more sandy beaches. It was only a five-minute cab ride to our hotel - Sunset View - and once we arrived we were again thrilled with our accommodations. It is a small hotel with about only 20 rooms and we are right by the pool (as most rooms are). In fact, hanging out there today we felt like celebrities - there was no one else around and the incredible staff was so attentive.
