Here's a short test drive of my 1962 Studebaker Lark 259 V-8 the day after I had my Studebaker mechanic friend at MDS Engine Service install it for me. I'm driving out Hwy. 6 just northwest of Waco over the Lake Waco twin bridges and down to the Speegleville Rd. exit and back. It has a 3.73 Twin-Traction axle and the engine is turning a relaxed 1900 RPM in overdrive at 60 MPH--just over 2000 RPM at 65. I like to make it kick-down at about 40 when it's in overdrive because it has great response when it kicks back into high gear!
