What happens when a devoted Peugeot 504 owner compares his 35 year old car to the 407. In this occasional series we feature people and their cars, we compare the difference in 30 years of French design and sweat. Mark bought his 1976 GL 504 for $100! Hard to beat the price, although lack of rear brakes and the tendency of the driver's door to fly open when cornering are somewhat of a drawback. Mark was "stoked" to drive the new Peugeot, complete with brakes and ignition on the opposite side (which fooled him for a while). But what is it that makes him prefer his prized 504?
